FluxLabs Updates and Ecosystem News
The past few months have been those of extensive collaboration, partnerships, and innovation, even as Flux continues to expand the reach of its ecosystem.
In this article, we’ll look at fresh FluxLabs updates and other exciting offerings Flux is bringing to the Web3 world.
Flux for Lunch:
October was a back-to-back “launch and release” month, with Flux firing on all cylinders. First, Geolocation 2.0, a feature that allows users to deploy geographically-targeted DApps, was launched. Then came FluxDrive, a Web3 cloud solution that offers more efficient decentralized storage for only a fraction of the cost.
What’s more? Users pay directly with their credit cards thanks to the fiat payment mechanism. With Amazon Drive going dark next year, Flux is providing a new home to house your data privately….forever.
Jetpack 2.0 also came onboard. You can quickly get your DApp running on Flux cloud infrastructure in minutes without being a code ninja! Flux Smart Pool was listed on Getblock.io for a test period and became one of the fastest-growing pools in just days!
Then came the FluxLabs collaborations:
A Trip to The Lab:
FluxLabs is the “incubation and acceleration” hub of the Flux ecosystem. The project focuses on promising start-ups in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industries, providing them with the needed mentorship, network, platform access, infrastructure, and other opportunities they need to thrive in a decentralized world. There is no charge to be a member of Labs, and the team supports projects committed to decentralization and being added to the Flux platform. Here are some of the recent additions to FluxLabs:
- Alephium:
Alephium is a highly performant, secure, and energy-efficient sharded blockchain network for DeFi and DApps. The network can natively scale to over 10,000 transactions per second, thanks to the functional sharding of its brand-new UTXO model. In addition, it benefits from its unique Proof of Less Work algorithm, an energy-efficient take on Bitcoin’s Proof of Work.
2. Meowcoin:
Meowcoin is a decentralized Proof-of-work project that seeks to revolutionize the animal industry by tokenizing pet adoption. Meowcoin leverages blockchain’s power to ensure that animal shelters and adoption services are secure and transparent. In addition, Meowcoin donates a portion of its POW block rewards to funding animal homes and shelters. Flux will provide Meowcoin with the decentralized infrastructure to keep the lights on.
3. Hopstairs:
Hopstairs is a SASS coaching platform that offers daily nudges to build confidence and unlock your full potential. Hopstairs will also be migrating to Flux infrastructure to explore the full potential of the web3 world.
4. CryptoChef:
Cryptochefs is an NFT project offering traders and platform experts a gamified Defi experience. Traders (called Chefs) can create their crypto recipes (a collection of trade buys), share them with the world and win tokens. CryptoChef is one of the latest additions to Fluxlabs and will be moving over from their traditional hosting to Flux Cloud infrastructure:
5. MyContainer:
Enabling access to various rewarding crypto mechanisms is the objective of MyContainer. With their recent addition to the FluxLabs, Flux will be listed and available for staking on the platform.
6. Cotx Networks:
Need hardware to run your Flux nodes? Cotx Network is a new project on Fluxlabs that’s got you covered. Cotx Network is a solution provider emphasizing cloud solutions, IoT, and crypto-mining. The Cotx network will make it easier to set up your FluxNode with no need for complicated installations and setups.
7. CoinLogic:
CoinLogic provides the data analytics, and security audits cryptocurrency projects need to underline their transparency and security. Now you can track all your favorite projects in one place and monitor statistics.
8. BlockSquare:
Fluxlabs also branched out into the real estate industry with BlockSquare. BlockSquare seeks to power platforms and real estate portals, connecting investors to opportunities all over the globe. With powerful administrative tools and tokenization, BlockSquare offers the chance to match public market demand with investors.
9. SushiSwap:
SushiSwap is a community-driven organization to solve the liquidity problem. SushiSwap offers an AMM framework, decentralized lending markets, and yield instruments. A Defi platform that allows you to lend borrow, and earn, Sushiswap is proudly deployed on the Flux Web3 cloud and is part of Fluxlabs.
10. Blockchain Alliance
Fluxlabs hit a significant milestone with its partnership with Blockchain Alliance, a coalition of blockchain clubs in over 120 universities worldwide. This collaboration will allow Flux to directly impact blockchain education across universities on seven continents, providing them with the tools and infrastructure they need to solidify their learning in the blockchain and web3 space.
