OSMOSIS DEX: Now On Flux
Interoperability is a crucial driver of decentralization in the blockchain world. For this reason, Flux is proud to announce that Osmosis DEX is now running on Flux! Check it out here: https://flux.osmosis.zone/.
As a decentralized exchange built on the Cosmos-SDK, Osmosis removes the single-chain limitation that has plagued many other DEXs. It incorporates multi-chain functionality and interoperability using Cosmos’ Interchain Blockchain Protocol, thus, allowing users to execute fast transactions between different chains.
What exactly will Osmosis running on Flux mean for users?
Flux is a decentralized cloud provider with over 15,000 nodes distributed over every continent (except Antarctica). These nodes run on enterprise-grade hardware with automatic redundancy and no single point of failure, which ensures every deployed application stays online even if one node fails. Thanks to this, Osmosis users will enjoy the high availability of the DApp, especially since Flux infrastructure also implements a geolocation feature. You can check out all active Flux nodes and locations here and see all the nodes where the Osmosis app is running by accessing this link and searching for Osmosis: Global Apps on Flux.
You can also access the decentralized Osmosis frontend hosted on Flux Web3 cloud here: https://flux.osmosis.zone/. This is an alternative to the native frontend hosted on classic Web2 infrastructure and is intended to showcase the benefits of Web3 cloud: cheaper and immune to the outages that traditional cloud providers may face.
Flux has been added to the Osmosis ecosystem webpage, among other projects that Osmosis collaborates with, which can be readily accessed at Ecosystem (osmosis.zone)/.
Osmosis provides a Defi platform where users can swap, stake assets, or join liquidity pools. It is also the first decentralized exchange to offer SuperFluid staking, which allows users to stake and, at the same time, contribute to a liquidity pool, making them eligible for double rewards.
Osmosis, over the years, has spearheaded a revolution in the world of decentralized finance through interoperability. Now, with the DApp running on Flux, Defi just got better.
The Flux Cloud allows you to deploy your Osmosis front end in a completely decentralized manner. Defi, the way it should be.
You can do so via the Flux Marketplace and its plug-and-play compatibility. Visit https://home.runonflux.io/apps/marketplace/front-end to find multiple supported Defi applications, including Osmosis. Your Front-end will run redundantly on a minimum of three instances at any given time and completely censorship-resistant. All for a cost of just 1 Flux per month!
