ZelNodes Update w/ Auto-update Script — v3.1.1
An update for ZelNode Operators is available. Please update your ZelNode using the linked script. It should taken less than 10 minutes.
ZelNodes Update
The ZelCash daemon is being updated to v3.1.1, so that means it’s time to also update your ZelNodes if you’re an operator. ZELmate v7.2.0 and ZelCore v1.4.4 control wallets are released with the newest binaries and there is a ZelNode update script that will easily download the bins and place them where they need to be on the VPS/server.
When updating your ZelNode, you must also update your control wallet so both are on v3.1.1 of the daemon. You will not be able to restart your ZelNode without the updated control wallet.

***Follow The Instructions Below, Please!!***
If you set up your ZelNode with the install script:
- Use the auto-update script to update your binaries to v3.1.1. Follow the instructions in the README linked here
- Update your control wallet (ZELmate v7.2.0 or ZelCore v.1.4.4)
- Reboot your VPS. The ZelNode will launch the software automatically
- Start your ZelNode from your control wallet
If you set up your ZelNode w/ APT or compiled from source:
- Update your ZelNode bins via APT or compile from source for v3.1.1
- APT update code:
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get upgrade
$ sudo reboot -n
- Update your control wallet (ZELmate v7.2.0 or ZelCore v.1.4.4)
- Reboot your ZelNode VPS and relaunch the daemon
- Start your ZelNode from your control wallet
