We are thrilled to announce that the much-anticipated day, December 15, 2023, has finally arrived. Today, we’re excited to share our progress with the FluxCore client application. Over the past few weeks, our team has dedicated extensive effort to provide you with a preview to test before the year concludes. We appreciate your eagerness and share in the enthusiasm for this moment.

Before we jump in, here’s a quick look at how FluxCore was developed.

FluxCore is an advanced application that utilizes coding languages like Golang, Flutter, Protoc, UPX, and Garble. Tailored for benchmarking unique machines and streamlining mining operations, FluxCore presents an exciting technical challenge. Nevertheless, we are confident in our ability to navigate and overcome these challenges with expertise and innovation.

Each machine is unique in its setup, with different motherboards, GPUs, mixed GPU configurations, and various operating systems, leading to specific challenges. To address this, we’ve equipped our development team with a diverse range of GPUs for internal testing on different setups.

We’re excited about the prospect of users worldwide downloading the FluxCore software and giving it a try. This will enable us to collect crucial data, ensuring FluxCore becomes as resilient as possible to handle any future setup challenges it might face.

While the technical landscape primarily revolves around Linux and Ubuntu, we understand the importance of reaching as many users as possible for Proof-of-Useful-Work participation. We aim for decentralization and inclusivity, allowing all types of machines to support our network and participate in earning rewards. This is why Windows support became paramount for us, despite initial concerns raised by the development team.

Let’s cut through the technical talk and jump straight into the action. Ready to download FluxCore? Let’s go!

To get started, please visit our Leaderboard Website and download FluxCore. We offer downloads for both Windows and Linux. The officially recommended systems include:

Ubuntu 22.04
Ubuntu 20.04
Windows 11

Users who download the client on unsupported machines can do so at their discretion. We welcome and appreciate any bug reports you may encounter, as they contribute to our ongoing efforts to enhance compatibility and support for a broader range of systems in future releases.
