FluxEdge Full Release: Expanded Features for Enhanced User Experiences

4 min readApr 11, 2025

Where do people go to purchase decentralized services and resources? Well, a decentralized marketplace. This is precisely what InFlux Technologies accomplished with FluxEdge: a decentralized marketplace for computing resources.

Whether it be connecting users to decentralized AI, machine learning, or rendering power, FluxEdge provides premium rentable GPU hardware at ridiculously affordable rates.

The FluxEdge Alpha was released in June 2024 to connect users needing computing resources with providers who had underutilized hardware to spare.

After fulfilling this purpose and now with the full release of FluxEdge, we wanted to update you on the marketplace’s expanded features.

Let’s dive in!

FluxEdge Full Release Features

Local Storage Support

For more efficient data availability, FluxEdge now features local storage support. By leveraging this, users can access and retrieve data faster. This feature optimizes real-time data processing for managing large datasets and handling extensive AI workloads.

Advanced Resource Allocation

We make it easy to track resources. Because multiple containers can be deployed on a single machine, advanced resource allocation must provide Fluxers with data on how much computing power their rented hardware has used and how much remains for future deployments.

FluxEdge displays a Machine Data Table that outlines the following information for easy resource tracking:

  • Machine name
  • Type of machine rental
  • Machine uptime
  • Machine location
  • Machine reliability — displays the percentage of rentals completed without interruption.
  • Hardware specifications — GPU, RAM, cores, and storage

Automated Deployments

With the full release of the FluxEdge, we have introduced Argo CD deployments for automated infrastructure configurations and application updates.

A little context: a Git repository is a database that records and stores the history of all technical changes made to an application.

GitOps is a system for managing these databases where Git repositories act as a single source of truth for their corresponding application’s state, tracking changes such as new infrastructure configurations.

Now, Argo CD is built using GitOps principles and acts as a delivery tool for automatic app deployments.

Argo CD continuously monitors an app’s Git repository for changes or updates and automatically syncs them with the application’s deployed environment when they occur, ensuring that the state of the live app always aligns with its Git repository.

Introducing Argo CD to FluxEdge allows users to receive automated updates about their applications’ infrastructure and deployment states. This feature enables users to track deployments in real time and revert to previous app versions outlined in the Git repository if any issues arise from new configurations.

Updated Payment Methods

The FluxEdge platform operates as a marketplace, so users must deposit funds into their accounts to rent computing services.

Flexibility is everything when it comes to payment, and that is why, with the full release of FluxEdge, we now offer robust deposit methods for machine leases.

To rent GPU hardware through FluxEdge, users can deposit:

  • $FLUX from the Flux mainnet, Ethereum, and Binance — depositing through this method earns users a 5% cost bonus
  • USDT or UDSC from Ethereum and Binance
  • Stripe payments
  • PayPal payments
  • Voucher Codes provided by Flux

Premium Machine Rentals

Thanks to InFlux Technologies’ NVIDIA partnership, which integrated FluxEdge with NexGen Cloud’s Hyperstack GPU-as-a-service platform, Fluxers can rent enterprise-grade NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs for high-performance AI development.

Additional Features

FluxEdge offers industry-standard passkey support for account logins to ensure compliance and security for user rentals.

FluxEdge now allows users to deploy private containers, which means that containerized applications can run without being accessible to the rest of the network, allowing for increased privacy and anonymity.

Users can leverage the FluxEdge API Beta for maximized app integrations and customized deployment management. To request access, fill out the FluxEdge API Beta form.

Need more computing power? Utilize FluxEdge multi-machine selection to rent multiple machines simultaneously, seamlessly managed from your dashboard.

Conclusion

FluxEdge provides users with top-notch decentralized computing resources at affordable rates. The full release expands features to increase application management efficiency on Flux.

Users can now automate application deployment configurations, accurately specify required hardware specs, and deposit funds in flexible ways to pay for computing resources. Be sure to follow us on X for all the latest Flux updates.
