Flux RoadMap 2024: What To Look Out For
The official Flux roadmap for 2024 is out. This article will explore the year’s vision, our upcoming projects, and their significance for Web3 and the tech industry.
In 2023, Flux laid laid the foundations for several revolutionary technologies, some already released, some still in the pipeline. In 2024, Flux will be consolidating on the success of these products, charting a new course for innovation with decentralized technologies, and expanding into different sectors with a tech-focused, problem-solving approach.
SSP Wallet: Beta and Beyond
SSP–our open-source, double-signature wallet-key pair built on the BIP48-Multi Sg design is already in open beta (limited to 100 users for iOS and Android each). This year, we’ll work on getting SSP out of beta and launching a general release candidate.
The wallet will be a ramp to onboard new users to blockchain/ web3 technology, provide a 2-factor authentication system for verifying transactions, and eliminate the inherent risk of single signature wallet access. SSP will also be fully SegWit-compatible and capable of generating native SegWit multi-signature addresses for supported chains by default.
We are looking forward to the community and various developers in the Web3 ecosystem taking advantage of the SSP wallet’s open-source nature to build new features and explore exciting possibilities for decentralization.
WordPress Is Here To Stay.
WordPress on Flux is coming out of Beta in Q1! Last year, Flux introduced a new twist to the dynamics of WordPress hosting. Beyond the norms of conventional hosting, we’ll now offer an unbeatable combination of affordability, scalability, high availability, and fast response time.
This year, we’ll be onboarding more WordPress websites on Flux decentralized infrastructure and expanding beyond the standard tier available in Beta to more tiers. With a single click, this will allow users to deploy and run any WordPress project on Flux, whether it’s a blog, an e-commerce website, or an extensive online network.
FluxEdge Alpha, FluxCore Beta.
If you still need help understanding these terms, FluxCore is the interface that enables providers to mine, benchmark their machines, and contribute GPU resources to the network.
Suppose you have an underutilized GPU card, mining rig, or data center. In that case, FluxCore allows you to contribute these excess resources to the FluxEdge Network, where businesses and enterprises can now rent them to power their various computational needs.

FluxCore Alpha was released last year. This year, FluxCore will go into beta, and the first iteration of FluxEdge will also be released.
Prime Time Phase 2 and More…
Prime time phase 2 encapsulates the different marketing strategies we’ll employ this year to streamline our GTM strategy, unify our market presence, and effectively promote Flux in technology. This will include ads across various digital platforms, referral programs, progressive node rewards, and more.
This year, Flux will also focus on standard technology stacks and enterprise needs across different sectors.
We’ll also be exploring partnership opportunities with reputable players in the industry to push the limits of scalable innovation. We are already in the last stages of facilitating a collaboration with a major Linux solution provider, and other partnerships are currently in the pipeline.
Project Juggernaut, Multisig FluxNodes, and More.
Juggernaut is a healthcare product scheduled for 2024. We’ll also unveil Titan Nodes v2 and incorporate multi-sig capabilities for FluxNodes, all designed to enhance security across the Flux ecosystem and give operators more control over their nodes.
SSP wallet Operation LockBox, the next iteration of SSP wallet, is on the road map for this year. Since the SSP wallet is currently limited to Flux and Bitcoin fork projects, with Operation LockBox, we are looking at a multi-asset upgrade that builds on the resilience of SSP to unlock new features and functionalities.
Tech Conferences:
Tech conferences and expos provide us with different opportunities to showcase our products, network, and rub minds with the best minds in the industry.
We’ve already started participating in CES 2024; Flux will also be at Messari Mainnet 2024, the Consensus Conference, Bitcoin 2024, and SC ’24 later in the year. In 2024, CypherPunk 2024 will be coming to Europe!
