Flux in Review: February Recap.

February was a hotbed of activity for the Cryptocurrency world, with Bitcoin breaking the $69k milestone for the first time since the peak of the November 2021 Bullrun. On the Web3 front, however, Flux again led the rallying charge for decentralization with major product releases that rocked the Technology world.

First, an Update Patch…

February kicked off with a new update patch to FluxCore Alpha. The patch introduced new functionalities to the PoUW client app, including support for the new GMiner mining software, flexibility for users to update their preferred mining software, and a new GPU indexing system that allows users to target specific GPUs for overclocking.

A second update patch released later in the month took things to a new level with support for new mining software—Rigel and XMRrig. Since the launch of the Alpha version last year, many users have asked for CPU mining on FluxCore; now it is available! We also added a new mining overview tab to allow users to switch between GPU and CPU mining options.

The Beta Switch

The FluxCore Alpha update patches eventually gave way to a more robust Beta. This new version, launched on February 29th, encapsulated all the features of FluxCore Alpha upgrades and addressed bugs and other user issues. The FluxCore team resolved over 250 help tickets created during the alpha trial phase and incorporated many valuable suggestions made by users into the Beta version.

As a result, FluxCore Beta promises a more stable and better-optimized experience. The new version will enable the FluxCore team to access more refined feedback as we work towards an entire release.

FluxCore Alpha clocked over 19000 benchmarks from 3000+ machines and 5217 GPUs. In Beta, we plan to break these milestones even as FluxCore becomes available to more users.

SSP Full Release

SSP Wallet has been anticipated since its unveiling last year, with users eagerly waiting for the release of our first open-source, multi-sig, wallet-key pair. In January, we rolled out a beta edition limited to 100 subscribers each on the iOS and Android mobile platforms.

In February, we did it! SSP is now fully available for download on the official SSP website. WordPress Launch

The Enshrouded game server is now available for deployment on the Flux marketplace for only $8.99 FLUX monthly. This new game server brings the total number of game servers on Flux to eleven, including the Palworld game server, which has been available since January.

In February, KuCoin partnered with us to launch their Learn to Earn campaign, which had a total Prize pool of $1000 in $FLUX. You can learn more about this campaign here. The $FLUX native token was also fully integrated into the RocketX platform, making it possible for users to purchase mainnet $FLUX without requiring an account on a centralized exchange.

Last month, we launched two full product releases, migrated another into the Beta phase, and onboarded new servers/nodes on our marketplace. However, we are not stopping. The future is here, and we are ready—one tech at a time.
