Auction Time. Your chance to win the #1 Flux Legacy Titan watch!

Time to gather up your friends and join in for another Flux community event. Flux is hosting a charity auction where the winner takes home a one-of-a-kind timepiece — The Flux Titan Legacy #1. All auction proceeds will be donated to two amazing organizations: Code like a girl & Operation Paws for Homes.

The Flux team only knows one thing that’s just as much fun as developing a new kickass tech stack for Web3: getting the Flux community together for a shared experience. It’s time for another Flux community event!

This time we hope to see our community join us for the first Flux charity auction hosted by Chief Strategy Officer Daniel Keller, or as some like to call him, ‘Leaky Dan.’ While we can’t promise that there will be any leaks, we can guarantee a fun auction live stream.

On auction will be a Flux Titan Legacy watch from TSAO Baltimore. It is a limited edition (250 total) timepiece that will come engraved and issued with its NFT from the Kadena-KDA and Ethereum-ETH blockchains, stored on the Flux network. It is a high-quality watch that TSAO describes as an ‘heirloom-worthy timepiece’ and has a retail price of $1,299. The Flux Titan Legacy on auction is #1 of the 250 watches.

The auction winner will also take home a custom Flux Lamp built by Bill Dodge, a skilled craftsman, and valued Flux community member.

The lucky winner will certainly be the envy of the Flux community by owning these two Flux artifacts that are both parts of the Flux story and legacy.

All proceeds from the auction will go to two awesome charities: Code like a girl & Operation Paws for Homes.

Code like a girl is a social enterprise providing girls and women with the confidence, tools, knowledge, and support to enter and flourish in coding. At Flux, we know that to build Web3, we need coders and the very best of them. Code like a girl is essential to a decentralized future by making coding accessible to all.

Operation Paws for Homes is creating a better world for companion animals and the community through rescue, rehabilitation, education, spaying/neutering, and providing resources to underserved populations. If you’ve spent just a little time on the Flux Discord, you will know that the Flux community is filled with animal lovers. Whether furry, scaly, or feathery, our animal companions deserve all the support they can get.

The auction will be live-streamed on February 11th at 9 AM EST/14:00 UTC. The auction rules and format, as well as the link to the stream, will be announced on Flux discord and Flux Twitter in the days leading up to the event.
