We’re getting closer to Christmas day and have now deployed 21 of the 30 dApps. This week amongst others introduced the Flux marketplace, an easy way to deploy pre-configured dApps. We know people are now winding down for their Christmas vacations, so we also brought some more gaming dApps to keep you entertained. Read on for the full recap of the ‘30-in-30’ third-week dApp launches.

The Flux ’30 in 30’ initiative is first of all about having fun and celebrating the Flux community. But it is also about showcasing the power and versatility of the Flux network by demonstrating what type of applications can be hosted on the network.

During December Flux will deploy 30(!) new decentralized applications on the Flux network in only 30 days. It’s the best Christmas calendar in blockchain, so be sure to follow us on Twitter @runonflux so you don’t miss a beat.

The Flux decentralized computational network has recently grown to almost 2400 nodes. By leveraging blockchain technology the Flux network delivers resilient, secure, and truly decentralized infrastructure to host Web 3.0. Best of all, Flux is a community-driven open-source project that is backed by a dedicated and highly skilled community.

Any hardened dockerized image can be globally deployed on the network and harness the power of Flux with more than 11,000 CPU cores, 35 terabytes of Ram, and 900 terabytes of storage space.

Now let’s have a look at the seven dApps that have joined the Flux network during the third week of ’30 in 30’.

Day 15: WBO collaborative whiteboard — a productivity dApp.

Gotta squeeze in that last bit of work before the Christmas vacation? Or maybe you’re planning a Christmas party with friends and family? No worries, Flux has got your back.

Today’s dApp, WBO, is an online collaborative whiteboard that allows many users to draw simultaneously on a large virtual board. The board is updated in real-time for all connected users, and its state is always persisted. It can be used for many different purposes, including art, entertainment, design, and teaching.

So jump in and give it a try!

Day 16: Flux marketplace — a Flux dApp.

This marks another great milestone for Flux as another awesome new feature is added to the Flux ecosystem — The Flux marketplace.

The Flux marketplace will serve as a launchpad much like the app stores on your phones. It will serve up easily deployable dapps for many purposes such as for frontends, backends, servers, oracles, node services, blockchain-related, and legacy technology-related tools.

It takes the complexity out of deploying a docker image to the Flux network by offering pre-configured solutions for standard dApps.

To kick it off, the Marketplace launches with Firo and Presearch nodes. Now there’s no excuse to not get that node up and running. It’s never been easier(or cheaper).

You can find the marketplace on the Flux dashboard: https://home.runonflux.io/apps/marketplace

Day 17: Tosios — a gaming dApp.

Here’s something fun to do if you’ve got some downtime to spend on gaming.

TOSIOS is an open-source multiplayer game that you can play in your browser. The game concept is pretty simple. Every player is positioned randomly on the map during the lobby.

When the game starts, each player must take down others to win in classic deathmatch style. There are some potions on the map that restore health, so grab those to get ahead. The last player (or team) alive wins.

Have fun!

The game can be found here: https://tosios.app.runonflux.io/

Day 18: Devlife — a game dApp

God knows there are many distractions in life and here is one more for you.

Today we’re bringing back a popular genre from our previous “20-in-20” event, an incremental clicker game. Devlife is a fun incremental clicker game simulating the life of a developer. Complete jobs, earn money, and upgrade, upgrade, upgrade. See how far you can take your empire.

Play it now at this address: https://devlife.app.runonflux.io/

Day 19: Ark: Survival evolved server — a game server dApp.

Today’s game server dApp demonstrates the Flux network's ability to run more resource-demanding servers. This Ark server is deployed running with 2 dedicated CPU cores and 8 GB of RAM. Running it on Flux is cheap compared to what’s on offer at the centralized VPS providers.

Ark: Survival evolved is a popular survival game. In the game, you use your skill and cunning to kill or tame and ride the plethora of leviathan dinosaurs and other primeval creatures roaming the land. Hunt, harvest resources, craft items, grow crops, research technologies, and build shelters to withstand the elements and store valuables, all while teaming up with (or preying upon) hundreds of other players to survive, dominate… and escape!

You need the Ark: Survival evolved game client to play. Grab an IP from the Global Apps list (https://home.runonflux.io/apps/globalapps) and use Port 36479 to start playing!

Day 20: Presearch whitepaper — a whitepaper decentralization dApp.

Today Flux secures another important whitepaper by decentralizing it. It is a simple but powerful message. Information needs to be decentralized, so we can protect it from censorship.

We have added the Presearch whitepaper to the FluxOS, where it will always be available for anyone to read. If you know a project that wants to have its whitepaper retained for all time, then suggest putting it on Flux. We also host the Flux, Kadena, and Bitcoin whitepapers.

Have a read about Presearch, the decentralized search engine, and Flux partner here: https://presearchpaper.app.runonflux.io/

Day 21: Posio — a gaming dApp.

Rounding off the third week is an educational game, have fun and learn geography at the same time.

POSIO is a multiplayer geography game using Websockets. Train your skills of geographic orientation by finding real-world locations against a timer. It’s a great way to relax while learning. You can play solo or compete with other players. Challenge your friends and family to see who knows the World best.

Play at: https://posio.app.runonflux.io/

Wrapping up

What a week! We still have 9 more dApp deployments ahead, so keep your eyes on the official announcements on the official Flux Discord or on the official flux Twitter, @runonflux.

You can find most of the new dapps under ‘global apps’ on the Flux dashboard, so be sure to check that out. Also, in about a week you’ll find the next weekly recap right here on the official Flux Medium.

As always you can find more information about the best infrastructure available for Web 3.0 on the Flux website.
