What a month, what a year! Flux closed 2021 strong by rounding off the ‘30-in-30’ with a bunch of great dApps. December also saw a slew of exchange listings, information on the upcoming node collateral halvening, and much more. The Flux team had a lot of fun with the ‘20-in-20’ and we hope you did too. Read on for the final recap of the last 9 dApp launches of the ‘30-in-30’.

The Flux ’30 in 30’ initiative is first of all about having fun and celebrating the Flux community. But it is also about showcasing the power and versatility of the Flux network by demonstrating what type of applications can be hosted on the network.

During December Flux will deploy 30(!) new decentralized applications on the Flux network in only 30 days. It’s the best Christmas calendar in blockchain, so be sure to follow us on Twitter @runonflux so you don’t miss a beat.

The Flux decentralized computational network has recently grown to more than 2500 nodes. By leveraging blockchain technology the Flux network delivers resilient, secure, and truly decentralized infrastructure to host Web 3.0. Best of all, Flux is a community-driven open-source project that is backed by a dedicated and highly skilled community.

Any hardened dockerized image can be globally deployed on the network and harness the power of Flux with more than 12,000 CPU cores, 37 terabytes of Ram, and 900 terabytes of storage space.

Now let’s have a look at the last nine dApps that rounded off the Flux ’30 in 30’.

If you missed out on the rest of the dApp launches, don’t worry. You can read all about it in the three other recaps:

30-in-30 Third Week Recap.

Day 22: Focalboard — a task management dApp.

Here’s an awesome application that we plan to use for micro-tasks/project management within Fluxteam. Get your team organized with Focalboard.

Focalboard helps define, organize, track and manage work across individuals and teams. It’s a great collaborative tool that will help you coordinate and solve any task that you take on. Feel free to deploy your own instances using the specifications under the global apps list as a reference.

You can try it out here: https://focalboard.app.runonflux.io/

Day 23: Libreddit — a social media dApp.

If you love to use Reddit, but value your privacy, then this dApp is for you.

Libreddit is an alternative private front-end to Reddit. This will allow the user to be void from logging, location, and cookies while exploring Reddit. Now you can explore all your guilty pleasure subreddits without getting caught. Time to check out those My Little Pony cosplays.

Try some private Reddit browsing here: https://libreddit.app.runonflux.io/

Day 24: Yacy — a search engine dApp.

Decentralization is at the core of everything that Flux does. So here’s a dApp that is all about decentralization.

The YaCy search engine software provides results from a network of independent peers, rather than from a centralized server or provider. It is a distributed network where no single entity decides what search results to list or the order in which they appear. It’s a Web Search by the people, for the people.

Day 25: Giftrun- a game dApp

To keep up the Christmas spirit here is a fun and festive distraction for you.

GiftRun is a simple and fun Christmas-themed game. Help out Santa and see if you can get a new High Score.

Try it out here: https://giftrun.app.runonflux.io/

Day 26: Flux-Solana parallel asset launch — a Fusion dApp.

Here’s an awesome Fluxmas present for all our loyal Flux holders and node operators.

Flux Fusion is now updated with the Flux-Solana parallel asset. So now you can all claim your Flux-Solana airdrops. Free Flux for our great Flux community! Thanks for your support and enjoy this Fluxmas airdrop. Maybe it will bring you closer to that next Flux node you want to deploy?

Claim your Flux-Solana in the Fusion app inside of the Zelcore wallet.

Day 27: Element — a commuincation dApp.

Another day, another win for decentralization.

Welcome to Matrix Element, an open network for secure, decentralized communication, connecting 42M+ users with over 80K+ deployments.

Matrix protocol is an open standard with open-source implementations, supporting a vibrant developer ecosystem. Element gives communities independence and flexibility to run their own communication platform. Another great decentralized use case for Flux.

Day 28: Rustpad- a coding dApp.

In order to build Web 3.0, we need some awesome decentralized developer tools. Here is one.

Rustpad is an open-source collaborative code and text editor. It enables multiple people to work on projects together in real-time and supports 50 different languages. It’s a great tool whether you do content development or coding.

Start building here: https://rustpad.app.runonflux.io/

Day 29: EtherCalc- a spreadsheet dApp.

Here’s another great tool to aid your productivity.

EtherCalc is an open-source collaborative web spreadsheet with a built-in Redis backend, where people can edit the same document simultaneously. Everybody’s changes are instantly reflected on all screens. Work together on inventories, survey forms, list management, brainstorming sessions, and more.

Here you go: https://ethercalc.app.runonflux.io/

Day 30: Bibliogram — a social media dApp.

For our final 30-in-30 dApp is another great social media frontend that will make your user experience better while protecting your privacy.

Bibliogram is a website that takes data from Instagram’s public profile views and puts it into a friendlier page that loads faster, gives downloadable images, eliminates ads, generates RSS feeds, and doesn’t urge you to sign up.

Try it out: https://bibliogram.app.runonflux.io/

Mission accomplished!

That’s 30 dApps in 30 days! This diverse range of dApps deployed during the month demonstrates the many use cases for the Flux network and how easily Dockers can be deployed on the network. All at a very low cost. We welcome you to check it out yourself and see how Flux can host your application efficiently, safely, and at a very low cost to you.

2022 will bring many more exciting developments for Flux, so be sure to keep track of all the announcements on the official Flux Discord or on the official flux Twitter, @runonflux.

You can find most of the new dapps under ‘global apps’ on the Flux dashboard, so be sure to check that out. Also, in about a week you’ll find the next weekly recap right here on the official Flux Medium.

As always you can find more information about the best infrastructure available for Web 3.0 on the Flux website.
